Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Donations

We are totally reliant on the help and support of our community to provide the foodbank with food and financial donations.

If you are able to donate money, please visit our Facebook page and use the donate button where you can gift aid or on our website to make your donations, alternatively:

  • Cheques made payable to The Forest Foodbank, Eastern United Business Park, Ruspidge Road, Ruspidge, GL14 3AW
  • BACs transfers are also most welcome please email us using our website form or use your email provider and use [email protected].

Over 90% of the food distributed by food banks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we are in desperate need of right now.

You are wlcome to drop off your donations at the following locations:

Tesco Lydney 0600 – 2200 Mon-Sat, 1000 – 1600 Sun.  Tesco drop off points are intended for food that has been purchased by in-store shoppers. Any food that has been purchased in a different store should be sealed and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.

Tesco Cinderford 0600 – 2200 Mon-Sat, 1000 – 1600 Sun.  Tesco drop off points are intended for food that has been purchased by in-store shoppers. Any food that has been purchased in a different store should be sealed and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This then ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
