About our foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
Our foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area.
On Saturday 26th January 2013 was the date of the launch for The Forest Foodbank which took place in Coleford’s Main Place and was declared open by the mayor of Coleford.
With the success of the Forest Foodbank distrubution centre in Coleford we were proud to open two new distribution centres, Cinderford in June 2013 & Lydney in October 2013.
