An Evening of Dining, Singing and Donating

14th June 2017

Katie and Charles Taylor of the Hot Pot Pottery in Christchurch are very kindly hosting an evening of summer dining  in support of the Forest Foodbank.

AN EVENING OF DINING, DONATING & SINGING! @HotPotPottery to help support the Forest Food Bank

At Hot Pot Pottery we believe in enjoying good food, having fun and helping our local community.

So, following our fundraising meals last Autumn to support Berry Hill Community Orchard, we are now planning a Summer Evening Meal to help support the Forest Food Bank.

The date will be Saturday 12th August 2017 and the plan is to dine in the courtyard, so we hope to have good weather! (If not we will dine indoors in our cosy tea-room space!).

The 2 course meal (including home-made pizzas and quiches) will have a Summer theme and will be served buffet style using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients where possible.

We will provide soft drinks and coffee/tea at the end of the meal and there will be wine/beer glasses available for use, but the evening will be BYO for alcohol.

We will aim to start at 7.30pm and finish around 10.00pm and we can seat up to around 26 people. So gather your friends and family and come and have fun!

The price will be £8.00 per person just to cover costs (payable on the night) and places can be booked by phoning Katie/Charles on 07974 983908/01594 837943 or emailing Please advise us of any allergies/food preferences when booking.

The idea of the evening is that we keep the price of the meal as low as possible and you come and have fun, dine well and bring donations that will benefit the Forest Food Bank which is there to support families in times of need when they are without money or the means to receive an income and need help and support to ensure there is food on the table.

Please bring donations of the following as supplies are running low at the Food Bank: Rice pudding, steamed puddings, juice, tinned potatoes, tinned tomatoes, pasta meals, noodles, Long life milk, tinned veg, tinned fruit, jam, dog/ cat food and chocolates/treats.

After the meal, over tea/coffee/wine/beer etc we will have an informal sing-along of old favourites around  the fire to end the evening.  If you play an instrument, bring it along & join in!

NB: Parking: as we plan to use the courtyard for dining we would ask those who are driving to park on the green in Christchurch up near the church and walking down to us.
